Disclaimer
The guides, working sheets and reports on hsn.niveshsahayak.in and the other Nivesh Sahayak tools explain GST, TDS, payroll and accounting rules in general, simple terms, to help you understand them. They are not tax, legal or professional advice for your situation.
- GST rates, limits and rules change through government notifications and GST Council decisions. A guide states the date a rule took effect where it matters (for example, self invoices within 30 days under Rule 47A, from 1 November 2024), but may not show the latest change on the day you read it.
- Example codes, rates and amounts on these pages show the format only. Confirm the correct code and rate for your own goods or services.
- Special cases (exports, SEZ, e-invoicing, reverse charge, works contracts, job work and specific industries) have their own conditions.
- GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and CMP-08 working, TDS amounts, input tax credit time limits (section 16(4)), salary deductions (PF, ESI, professional tax, TDS) and final accounts are worked out only from the records you saved. Check them against the portal and with your accountant before you file or pay.
- Final accounts made here (T format or Schedule III) are working statements, not audited accounts.
Before relying on any information here, check the official sources (the CBIC website, the GST portal, the e-invoice and e-way bill portals, the Income Tax department) or speak to your accountant or tax adviser.
The tools follow the details you enter. Nivesh Sahayak is not responsible for documents made with wrong details or for any tax, interest or penalty that follows.
An invoice made here is not an e-invoice until it is registered. If e-invoicing applies to your business, upload the e-invoice file on the government Invoice Registration Portal with your own login, then load the reply (IRN and signed QR code) back into the invoice.
